Join us on May 3rd for a Raku party! For this inaugural fundraiser, we will be starting smaller with horsehair raku only. Participation in raku is only available to participants 18 years and older.

Three vases made by our studio director and assistant director will be available per time slot. Each ticket gets you one vase. You will have the opportunity to take your vase out of the kiln, decorate it, and learn more about the process. Your piece can be cleaned and taken home once cooled.

Please be advised that raku is a volatile firing process, and we are not responsible for breaks. Rain date TBA.

Policies

Working with clay takes a lot of practice, and is really dirty. Even though we have aprons in house for you to use, we recommend you wear some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Raku is volatile and hot. Proper safety gear will be required, and we are not responsible for breaks, which are more likely with this process.

Walk-ins available on first come, first served basis if there are available pots in the time slot.

Raku is only available to participants 18 years and older.

Cancellation Policy

All classes are subject to cancellation because of lack of attendance, illness, and inclement weather. We will do our absolute best to give you 24 hours warning in the case of a cancellation. Weather date TBA.

As this is a fundraiser, there will be no exceptions to our cancellation policy.

Full refunds are available up to 72 hours before the start of class
