Cancellation, Refund,and Rescheduling Policy

Things happen, and plans change.  These policies are in place to make sure we are all on the same page when attending classes at Old School Farm Pottery.

Cancellation Policy

All classes are subject to cancellation because of lack of attendance, illness, and inclement weather. Classes will be canceled if there are fewer than 3 attendees. This is to protect your time and the teacher's time. In the event of cancellation you will be notified and given the option to reschedule to a new date or receive a full refund. We will do our absolute best to give you 24 hours warning in the case of a cancellation.

Refund Policy

Full refunds are available up to 72 hours before the start of class. There is a $25 service charg for any refunds 72 hours or less before the start of the class. Please email brad@oldschoolfarm.org to request a refund.

Rescheduling Policy

You may reschedule your class on our website up to 72 hours before your class begins. This rescheduling is limited to classes with open availability. There is a $25 service charge for rescheduling 72 hours or less before the start of your class. Please email brad@oldschoolfarm.org to request rescheduling.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where did "Old School Farm" come from?

We are connected to Old School Farm, a nonprofit farm that employs adults with disabilities. Old School Farm also provides produce to communities that need it. We share a similar mission - providing an equitable and safe environment to participate in Nashville’s art community.

  • If I miss a day in my course, can I do a makeup class?

Unfortunately we cannot provide makeup time for missed days in our courses. If you’re signed up for a course, you can sign up for a studio time add on for extra time to complete projects. Wheels during studio time are first come first served.

  • What kinds of classes do you offer?

So many! We offer 9 week ceramic courses, one day ceramic classes, and occasionally we have courses and classes on other mediums and subjects in the gallery. Check out “Classes and Courses” in the menu bar.

  • Do you have open studio hours?

No, studio hours are offered as an add on to courses. Wheels during studio time are first come first served.

  • Do you rent studio spaces?

Yes! Check out “Studio Membership” in the menu bar.

  • What should I do if I am exposed to/test positive for Covid-19?

If you are feeling unwell leading up to your time with us, please stay home and email us at sarah@oldschoolfarm.org and brad@oldschoolfarm.org so we can accommodate rescheduling. Do not come to your scheduled studio hours, class, course, etc. if you are exposed to or test positive for covid-19.

  • Is there a studio mask policy?

With Covid-19 numbers on the rise, we want to encourage our guests to be mindful of their health and the health of others. If you are feeling unwell let us know so we can accommodate rescheduling. Masks are encouraged but not required for anyone who thinks they may have been exposed, are feeling unwell, or who are uncomfortable with the current levels of transmission.

  • What is the inclement weather policy?

We will close the studio if MNPS schools are closed. For courses, in case of inclement weather we will have one make-up class after the conclusion of the course. For one day classes, we will cancel and refund registered students.

We will send emails and post on social media, but feel free to reach out if you are unsure of the status of your class.
